A few weeks ago, I closed out the final session of the ISACA Silicon Valley 2026 Annual Conference, “Trusted Autonomy: Governing the Agentic Future,” in Santa Clara.
My talk, “The Tabletop Grows Up: Turning Crisis Drills into Evidence,” was about a simple problem: most tabletop exercises are static, predictable, and too easy to pass. They check a box, but they don’t tell you how your team will actually perform when a real incident hits.
Thank you to Kanna Sekar and the ISACA SV team for a great conference, and to everyone who stuck around for the last talk of the last day. Great questions and even better hallway conversations.
